This is a nice service used example of a German Krimschild metal shield award, which has been removed from a uniform, so at present there is no fabric included. As such there isn't any way to tell which branch it is for, as that would be determined by the color of the fabric. The shield is in good shape, with all the detail still present, and a bit of the original gold wash present on the front. It is made from
