There is a small loss to the pool of peas and a crack visible only from the backside

and youthful still

A few losses to the gold paint on the frame as evident but it is in overall good shape

but is in good shape

and was enhanced with some green and white paint plus yellowy-cream paint across the flat of the stumps

Antique Papier Mache Snuff Box with Hand-painted Red, Green and Black Flower yellow box There is a small lossI just thought this one was was really pretty, and in my world one can never have too many pretty boxes, large to very small! 19th c., lacquered papier mache, with the band separating the areas of red a dark green, as is the bottom of the box. Lovely. 2 1 2" in diameter x 7 8" t and in very good condition. There is a tiny hole at the very center perhaps which once held a pin or a pull, which I only noticed in magnified photos.
