I have found a few different dates associated with this version--as early as the 1920s and as late as the early 1940s

and a couple of pretty minor surface scratches on the seascape aside as pictured

The backs of these terrific old tramp art frames--late 19th or early 20th century I believe--are almost as great as their fronts

I'm picky about the ones I like though, and these are lovely, clearly played with quite a lot, with softening to the edges of the paint giving an almost ethereal feeling to whatever pattern one forms with them. 25 cubes, measuring 1 1 16" cubed.
