This is a fantastic painted M43 Field Jacket worn by member of the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment during World War Two. It is in excellent condition and approximately a size 42. The most notable aspect of this jacket is that it was painted by a local Japanese artist while the 511th PIR were on occupation duty during September 1945 in the Aomori Prefectures in Northern Honshu. The front left chest bears an Parachute
