Sweden, Kingdom. An Order of the Seraphim, Grand Cross in Gold, By Carlman, with Case GTRexclude measuring 136 mm (w) x(Kungliga Serafimerorden). Instituted by King Frederick I on 23 February 1748. A lovely Grand Cross Badge, a white enamelled Maltese Cross with crosses on each and ball finials, winged cherubs in each quadrant, the central medallion in blue enamels featuring the inscription IHS (Iesus Hominum Slavator), with three crowns, the reverse medallion presents the letters FRS (Fredericus Rex Sueciae), the cross is surmounted by a large crown with red, white,
