maltese cross in solid silver with a center applique with royal blue coloured enamels with a golden standing lion in the centre

label stitched in place to the seam on the same side above the size stamping

(1870 1914 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a central Anhalt coat of arms flanked by the monogram of Duke Leopold IV and a number 9 in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 44 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), missing its horizontal pinback, in otherwise very fine condition.
