Polished Sutured Ammonite - SOLD 7.15" Cleoniceras jellyfish “Geology and the Painted DesertAmmonites are an extinct group of cephalopods that entered the fossil record 400 million years ago. This specimen is a 7. 15" polished Cleoniceras fossil from Madagascar. This particular genus of ammonite had beautiful suture patterns that cross their shells like feathered jigsaw pieces and make fantastic display pieces.
